Basement trim, New Autographs & Fett Cod

In this pic you can see some of the baseboards I out in on the weekend. You can also see Boba Fett's Cod Piece that is just primed grey right now. I't been 3 coats of bondo so far....still needs some detail.
















Here is a little more trim and the wood I put on the ledge for shelves.
















A buddy in Flrida just sent me a few new personalized autographs from Star Wars Weekends at Disney. THANKS AARON!
















I also got the Ewok Tunic signed. Hard to make it out in the picture. It says, "For Jason, Yub Yub, Warwick Davis, Wicket). COOL!

More parts arrived!!!

I got Threepio's arms, legs and head and a Jedi Trainign Remote. I was expecting a Fett Rangefinder and his jetpack rockets, but they didnt come.

I spent a bit of time trimming up the castings and I duct taped the head in place...just to see.

A Rough Night

I weathered more of the armor. Everything will need a black wash later to dull it down and make it all look dirtier.

Damaged Goods

Here are a couple updated pics. I finished off his yellow shoulder armor and damaged the collar armor and added the shoulder studs (one of which holds his cape on).

Fett Armor has begun

I took my styrene piecs of Armor (I got from a friend in trade) and heated them up with a heat gun to bend them to the right shape. Then some primer and paint..and velcro to attach the pieces.

They need to be weathered and scrathed and dings and dents need to be painted, but it's a start!

Yes that is just a cheap toy gun for now.

Sprayed clear gloss on Fett

I did this to protect the stickers, but it sure makes the colors pop out more. I will be diryting him up and wetahering a lot more, but he should have a glossy undertone...

Fett Update...Kill Stripes and some decals

I cut out a printout of the kill stripes (yellow stripes on helmet) and cut them out with a razor blade..then taped it on the helmet and painted them on. I am very happy with how they turned out. You can also see my attempted decals on the ears. They turned out ok. I'm going to spray over top of them with a clear paint..then once it's all weathered it should look better...I hope.
